Supplemental alternative treatment: Immunotherapy and Ovarian Cancer stage IV

My mother's cancer re occurred and is now in Stage IV.  She has had a total hystorectomy and 6 cycles of chemotherapy.  Although conventional method have been effective for two years, our family is not content with these methods specially now that her cancer is more advanced.  Weve done many research on alternative treatments and stumbled upon a treatment: immunotherapy.  When combined with chemotherapy, it seems to yield a higher survival rate than just chemotherapy alone. However, it is very costly and not covered by insurance bec. it has not received approval yet in the U.S. we had to travel overseas to get this treatment.  She is currently receiving chemotherapy here in the U.S. and also immunotherapy.   I would like to know if there is anything you know about this latter treatment.

My Dog Groomer who is from Europe is always telling me about this treatment and she swears that it works. I really do not know a whole lot about it though

have you heard of hyperthermia? this can be done in a number of ways 1, for a local tumour heat is applied 2, for metastisis whole body hyperthermia is applied 3, heated chemo can be applied directly into the abdomen.  All these are practised in europe, research is still undergoing in the uk, not sure about america, this is also practiced in Japan and such countries.  From clinical trials there is strong evidence to show that when used in conjunction with chemo and radiotherapy the results of such treatments are most definately enhanced, this is because it has been discovered that cancer cells are much more sensitive to heat than normal body cells and are thus damaged at a lower temp.  I have the name of a clinic in Germany that does this if you are interested and know of a woman who went there for intraperitoneal treatment.

They have come out with a new treatment that pumps carbo right into your stomach that is suppose to add 18 months of life. They say that the side effect are harsh as we all know carbo is some tough stuff! They say that after a year quality of life resumes? This has just came out in the last few months and I believe that youy have to be in stage4. I hope this helps. I also take something called FLORA celluar tea and it cleanses everything. I take one bottle a month and I swear that it helps, also green tea seems to help me. Good Luck
