Surgery for Reocurring Ovarian CA

Having had 6 cycles of carboplatin and Taxol through intraperitoneal port 3.5 years ago following surgery, the Ovarian CA has returned with two masses located and enlarged lyph nodes found through CT scan. Is surgery a choice this time?

Hi There
surgery is an option is the location of the tumors is in an area that is surgically resectable such as the pelvis or the bowel. If the location is in the upper abdomen behind the pancreas or near the liver, surgery can be tricky and chemotherapy first makes more sense
