Hi , just visited the website and it really brought home the fact that there are many long term survivors of this ugly disease . Women in late stage still alive and well at 10,15and 20 years after diagnosis . A really great site to give hope to all . I would recommend checking this site out when you are feeling low  for inspiration . Thanks for posting the website address . Are you from the uk like me ? . Keep well - Silver

Yes I am from the UK -   there seem to be a few of us visiting this site but there does seem to be quite a difference in the way things are done in the US  to the UK.
Probably because we are mostly treated on the NHS and  generally take what we are offered instead of choosing our specialists unless we are not satisfied for some reason.
I posted details to the survivors site because I think it is important to know that there are people who have done so well - it gives me a 'lift' to read their stories:)
