TC in ICU - just a precaution

  Seamus called me this afternoon to tell me that TC could not call as they had put her in ICU. She was having problems breathing and they decided to send her there as a precaution. Hopefully it will only be a day or two.
  She did have the intestional bypass, but did not have to have the colostomy, and they are fairly sure that she will be able to eat again.
  I hope that she will be able to start eating soon as I would live nothing better than to get up there and cook a few meals for her.
  I will keep you informed of anything as soon as I know.

I am sorry to hear that...Do you mean a breathing machine as in an asthma type inhaler or do you mean a respirator??? Love Ronni

  Tc's breathing problems have been attributed to her lungs not fully wking up after the surgery. they want to put her on a breathing machine but she keeps telling them no. I told Seamus to tell her to quit being so stubborn and let them do what they need to so she can get out of there and get home.
  Will let you know any more updates as I recieve them.

Have they determined what's causing the breathing problems? My imagination is going overtime. It worries me. I'll try to focus on the good bowel surgery with no colostomy. Thanks for letting everyone know.  Irene

TC   glad to hear that the operation showed such promise for you.  The bumps after surgery  make us feel that time drags on a bit, but it won't be long till you will start feeling better everyday.  Take care of yourself and hope you can stand Chris's cooking  lol  Whats the menu Chris, for that meal?   And Seamus  gets to do the dishes, right?   take care  marty

Hi Chris, thanks so much for the update.  I am still praying for TC.  I think it is a good thing that they are being so active in her care.  I think she is right where she needs to be to get better faster.  Please pass on my prayers and love.
