Interesting!!! Ralph W Moss PHD,   Moss is my last name,   wonder if he is any relation?  ha ha ha   I live in Iowa  The drug companies and the the medical community do not want us to use natural remedies. Antioxidents are used world wide for supplements, so I am sure if there has been a major find in them being harmful it would have made big headlines. Cut out fruits and veggies, how ridiculous. We will continue to use the well known and some not so well known natural remedies to fight this beast.  I found the web site for the National Ovarian Cancer Alliance. It looks promising, but in reading the stats I became very depressed. I do not want to lose my daughter to this damn thing. My only thought is that if that is to happen I hope I go first. Pulled up one site and guess what I found,  a page of the forum  discussing the use of alternative herbs and natural aides.

another good read on cancer and antioxidants   National Cancer Institute,  fact sheet, type in ovarian ,  then antioxidants.  tells us how orange and green foods are good for us,  Teas,  almonds,  Red Wine,  I wonder is 100% red grape juice is just as good?  Cloudy apple juice, does this mean apple cider ?  Reading through what they know already, seems to mean that antioxidants do more harm than good to the cancer cells. From what I read also many of these same foods raise the PH level which I have found does a good job of killing cancer cells also.

I made a granola mixture for myself when I was going through chemo, to increase my red blood cells.  It was granola, apricots, raisons, dried raspberries or blueberries and almonds.  Loved the mixture, and it agreed with me.  But then I was lucky, not much nausea, in the beginning.  My counts did not drop, so I think it worked.

I read that Welch's Grape Juice is just as good for you as red wine. It has to be the 100% kind and not "light"

Yes I agree with SimpleStar that pharmaceutical companies would not publish or share this kind of information as it would put them out of business...Imagine the millions they would lose.  I have research the price of my chemo drugs in America by a major pharmaceutical company and the generic brand made in India and there is a huge difference in price.  And I believe that doctors are at their mercy as they don't want to risk trying alternative methods and there is less liability by using drugs that claims to have some effect on illnesses.  Thanks for the website, wondering how the trial is going, should have some result if this article was written in 2003.  But for now, I am not stopping my antioxidants and supplements with my chemo!!

pomegranate juice...I stock up on that shortly before my ops & during my recovery.  I also get herbal tea from Whole Foods, 'immunotherapy' is the name.  The drug companies wouldn't be making as much $ if the general public knew about all the toxins in their medications.  Check out Young Living; there's an awareness pamphlet (available to purchase) called "Rub a dub dub, is there Cancer in your tub?".  If only everyone knew...peace.
