If you have endometreosis stage 4 you need and endometreosis specialist. I had stage 3 endo. where do you live? If you really want to get pregnant I have a great Dr. he is in NYC. I have 1 child and want another but my problem was severe pain. I had endo and adenomyosis and there was no way I was having a hysterectomy. I have had 2 past surgeries and the pain still came back. My pain was on my left side it would shoot down my leg and around my back. I also had pain up my rectum and i always had to urinate. My endo was around my rectum and bladder and I had an adeno mass in my uterus. I had my surgery in 2/07 and I feel great. We are going to try to have a baby this summer. This Dr excises the endo which means he cuts it out. Lasers do not work. If you want to contact me e-mail me ***@**** put as a subject endometreosis. Good luck
I wanted to ask if you had any symptoms other than infertility with your endo? I'm still in the discovery phase (trying to figure out what is wrong with me). So any insight into your symptoms is appreciated! Thanks so much! I have all of my symptoms listed on Worried about continuing illness and doctor ordered CT Scan threads, so I won't repeat them here.
I actually had no infertility problems I had no problem getting pregnant. I had severe pain in my abdomin (abdomen) up my back down my leg. I have been to the emergency room several times. The pain pretty much followed my cycle but then it just seemed to happen all month. Maybe I would have a week free of pain. The pain was always on my left side. That is were the mass was. It was behind my left ovary. Hope that helps :)
