I need some information.  My surgery was 3 weeks ago today.  I had some numbness in area of upper right leg and the lower pelvic area.  I am now having some pain in that area.  Do you think it is anything to worry about or do you think it is because numbness is going way.  It does not seem sharp just uncomfortable.  I have been feeling pretty good up to this point.

This has been my 5th surgery, not had this before.  Any thoughts?  Should I call the doctor, everything in that area seems to be working okay.

Thanks for everything.

Hi,
It could be an irritated nerve , if you first had numbness in that area it could be that the nerve is waking up so to speak hence the pain. I  would give it a bit longer to see if it improves and if not I would go to see the surgeon .
Good luck Take care  Angie xx

Thanks Angie.  I was thinking it might be related to nerves.  I mentioned it to the Nurses when in hospital they mentioned the nerves as well.  I was thinking someone from here might have heard of it before.  I am hoping it gets better not really painful just bothersome.  I have been off the pain medication for a little over a week so I am hoping I do not need them anymore.

Thanks for all the help.

Take Care,
Dawnlyn
