To Jatoo & Others

Hello everyone:

It has been November sincee I have posted.  A lot has happend. In November the Doctor told me there was nothing he could further and turned me over to Hospice.  I went to M. D. Anderson and they suggested that I try Carboplatin again.  Went back to Doctor and he put me on Carboplatin.  Didn't work, then he suggested Navelbine.  I have been on Navelbine for 6 weeks now.  In the beginning my ca 125 went from 7768 to 1243, but the last one went up to 4655.
I don't know if the drug has quit working or not.  

The good news is that I am feeling so good.  In November I was sleeping all day and sick all day.  I now feel better that I have felt in a year.  I am up everyday, not sick at all, good appetite, gained 10 lbs, and riding in the truck with my husband every day goind through our orchard.  I am so lucky to feel this good.  I haven't been posting because I couldn't type due to the tremors.  They have gotten better and I actually normally typed this post insteadd of with one finger.

Jatoo, how is your wife doing.  I think about you and her everyday and wonder how you are.

Glad you are feeling so well, Spring in an Orchard is a pretty sight.  Will keep praying that you receive only good news from now on and that those numbers go back down, but remember, you are not a number dear, you are a living testament that miracles can and do happen.  Marty

Do you get this med every week ? Maybe it takes a while for the body to adjust and 6 weeks might be too soon to tell if it's working or not.  
Sounds like your immune system is strong...I think it's important to keep it strong, so continue whatever you are doing. Feeling good is very good.
