I just read your post about pregnancy after surgery for endometriosis.  I had a laparoscopy for endo this past April.  I also have a LONG history of fertility problems (diminished ovarian reserve, blocked fallopian tube, uterine fibroids, uterine polyps, endometriosis); however, my gynocologist told me that IF I were to get pregnant, the best chance would be during the six months after my lap for endo.  Two months have passed without success, but my husband and I are going to keep trying.  My gyn said to have sex as much as possible...

I THINK Tasha from this forum got pregnant after surgery for endo and she also had fertility issues.

Just a bit of info. - hope it's helpful.

P.S.  I'm not a fan of Clomid.  I don't know anyone who has gotten pregnant while taking Clomid (and I know many, many women who have taken this drug, including myself).  I've also been told by reproductive endocrinologists that Clomid is not very effective for producing pregnancies.  A reproductive endocrinologist is your best bet for any fertility issues.

Thank you so much for your post...i am guessing you had laperscopic surgery???? I had laperatomy (csection inscision) and was told i needed to wait atleast 3-4 months before ttc to heal. We are about about 3 1/2 months now and will meet w/ my RE in july.

Unfortunatly, i don't think i have much chance of concieving on my own at all. I have to many other medical issues, including a immune deficiency w/ my mucus membranes (uterus being one), a blood clotting disorder (use BA) and also a thing w/ the lining on the uterus and usually under developed eggs...LOL (atleast one can laugh)

I used clomid for 3 cycles and concieved my first child after 3 yrs ttc, so i was totally ready to use the "combonation" we used last time, but ended up w/ my endo cysts , and surgery.

I think at the least i will have to use clomid or something else to help egg maturation and then for sure the BA, progestrone as last time...

Im hopeful, but fearful all in the same breath. Its hard to explain. Tho, im older and smarter to, so i know what im doing this time..LOL

thanks again for your post, and if u can think of anything else, please let me know, otherwise, i will keep u all updated on what my RE suggests.
