Topotecan & Thalidomide

My mother was diagnosed with Ova Ca stage IIIC in Jan 07, after being on 6 rounds of carbo & taxol, she had her 1st recurrence in Jan 08(6 months from treatment). She was given doxil and carbo 5 rounds. She was also put on armidex, which she took for 2 months. Her CA 125 was in single digits on completion of the doxil and carbo in May 08. In August her CA 125 started rising slowly and then in 2 weeks was up from 71 to late 980's. Her latest CT scan had revealed some fluid & the following is the prelim report:
"Evidence of active disease in fluid collection in abdomen (0.7),soft tissue density lesion scalloping the lt anterolateral border of rectosigmoid colon in pelvis (1.7) & enhancement seen in fluid collection in Lt abdomen(1.5).
This most likely represents malignant pathology "
Her doctor has suggested the combination of the above drugs?
