Treatment of fibromyoma with Diphereline® (triptorelin).

Hi everyone!

following the intervention I had last June, where the doctors removed several fibromyomas and endometriose, I was given a hormone medicament as a follow up treatment. After regular check-ups my doctor noticed that the medicament was not giving the desired effect. All the contrary: the fibromyoma appeared again and are growing (1cm every 2months).

She recommends an intensive treatment with another medicament called Diphereline® (triptorelin). The treatment would consist in three time injections every three months during this year. She says the results are amasing!

Does any of you know this treatment? If yes, do you know anything about its side-effects? I could not find much on the internet and I suppose is a fairly new treatment.
