Ultrasound for suspicious ovarian cyst showed uterine size changes - Help!

Hello.  As you may know from previous posts, I went for an transvaginal ultrasound for a small ovarian cyst with suspicious blood flow.  I received the ultrasound results but I am still waiting to speak with the doctor.  I need advice.  The latest ultrasound does not state any suspicious blood flow and it says that the left ovary, which was the one that was being watched, has follicular chages.  I think that is normal.  However, it says I have a nabothian cyst near the cervix.  I am not sure what that is.  Also, I compared the latest ultrasound with my previous one and my uterus is larger.  In the original ultrasound, my uterus measured 5x3x4 cm and in the new one it measured 8.2x3.5x5.7. I also looked at an ultrasound that I had from last year and my uterus measured 6x3x3 cm.  I am scared because my uterus got larger in the 3 weeks between ultrasounds.  Does anyone have any insight?  Please help.  I am freaking out waiting for the dr. to call and that probably won't be for a few days.

Thanks

Hey.  I think your period can show up again after a year.  It happened to my aunt about 10 years ago and she's fine.  The black spot may have been a cyst.  I have saw it on my ultrasound and the tech did tell me that it was a cyst.  When he told you that you shouldn't leave until he talked to you, was that before or after your ultrasound.  If it was before, he probably wanted to give you the results right then so you would not have to worry.  If it was after the test, he would not have just been unavailable if something was really wrong.

My doc called and said that my ultrasound was nothing to be alarmed about.  He said that due to my high level of anxiety, we will repeat it again in 4 to 6 months.  I am still nervous though.

Be sure to post tomorrow and let me know how you are.  Good luck.  I will pray for you.

I just got back from a TVUS also! I too am freaking out. The dr told me not to leave until he spoke to me and they there was not one there at the offiece as they said there would be so I need to wait till tomorrow. I am 56 and have not had my pd since May 07. I must say that I saw what looked like a little black spot in the uterus. The tech marked it right away. I did not ask her b/c she would not tell me anyway. I have to wait till tomorrow too and I am freaking out.  I got my pd last thur and went right to the dr. He sent me for this today.  I just feel like I had my pd only very light.  Had PMS even had my face break out which I have not had for YEARS.  I don;t know can you still get a pd after 12 months. I do not think that it is an exact science. What is the blood test that determines it is it CA 25.  My dr will not do it he says it is not reliable but jeesh I will take anything at this point.
