Unabsorbed Pelvic Fluid

Unabsorbed Pelvic Fluid

I have had a hysterectomy done due to uterine fibroids. Ovaries were not taken out. Operation took place Jan,'04. There were already signs of ovarian cyst but the doctor said that he would only take the ovaries out if it was necessary stating that it was probably a functional cyst that occured from time to time.
After the operation I had terrible pelvic pain. After a Sonogram and Ct Scan they found 2 hyperdense loculated fluid collections in the pelvis. They were pretty large. I had pain running all the way to my ankles. These fluid collections were aspirated by a radiologist. Tests were run and everything came back negative. They could not tell me how or why it occured. Anyway, I felt complete relief after the procedure. It has been 8 months and the bloating feeling as well as ankle pain has returned. I also feel terrible pains once a month and my doctor had mentioned that it could be my ovarian cyst bursting. Can a cyst that bursts leave behind fluids that the body cannot absorb? Can my ovaries be removed laproscopically? I do not want to be cut open again. Any idea why fluid would keep occuring? Any suggestions as to what type of tests should be recommended? I am going back to a few doctors next week. My family doctor is sending me to a Podiatrist since my ankles hurt but I just feel that it is gynecological in nature. I don't want to upset my doctors by suggesting anything but I know my body and the pain is the same kind that I had when my stomach got bloated. The pain concentrates low in my abdomen and wraps all the way around my low back. Please help/suggest.
