Update on Colleen

Hi, Colleen is still in the hospital.  She has pneumonia.  She's hoping to go home soon, though.  Overall, she is doing OK.  She's sore and weak b/c she hasn't eaten.  She said that the final pathology hasn't come back yet but everything looked OK during surgery (I'm assuming they did a path while she was in surgery).  There was a hernia, which they repaired and a lot of adhesions from her previous surgery (she thinks).  And, they did an abdominal hysto.

Got a text from her that they were trying to send her home today.  Pneumonia is clearing and she is eating a bit.  No cancer!!!

Hope you get home soon.  Home is where the true rest can happen.  Though I don't jump in here often, I read your posts and am praying for a speedy recovery.

Awww Colleen... I'm so sorry. And now the weather down here is really nice! ! Couldn't have stayed in that ole hospital when it was 23 degrees right? No mind; you'll be out of there soon !!

I can't say naughty words here but my mind is running overtime. I'm so sorry you ended up with pneumonia. That hurts! Plus coughing after abdominal surgery just can't happen. Talk about pain. I hope they're taking good care of you and you can go home soon. You always feel better in your own bed. Rest, be good and they'll let you go sooner.
