Update on Mom

To All,

I appreciate all of the kind words and support over the last few months.  It is with a heavy heart that I let you know that my mom lost her battle with this on Sunday.  She had sent me away on our annual mom/daughter trip without her the previous Sunday and I returned to find that she had other family take her to ER and needless to say, released to Hospice care.  As difficult as this time is, I am at peace that she is now in a better place and out of her struggle and suffering.

Thank you all again for the kind words and prayers.  It is amazing the strength that I have had the last couple of days dealing with the friends and families at the funeral home.  The funeral is tomorrow.  I feel my mom and dad right by me all the time now.  I believe that is where my strength is coming from.  I am thankful that her suffering is done and even more thankful that I know she is at peace.  

Prayers to all of you.  Keeping fighting the fight and remain strong.  There will be an answer to this all.

   I m so very sorry to hear of your loss. I know that this is hard, but it may possibly be that your mom knew the end was near and wanted you to take that little vacation so you would cherish those memories.
   Your mom is finally at peace, with no more pain and suffering, she is with God now and in his tender hands.

I am so sorry for your loss as I lost my Mom when I was 20....she had cancer also...I can feel your pain ....just know in your heart that she has now become your guardian angel and will always be taking care of you and watching you from above...Gia :)
