Update...

Im going in for another aspiration tomorrow . Apparently there was a misunderstanding between the two docs that are dealing with me. One said I wasnt fully drained, the other one assumed he meant I was ( because of the amount they drained out)
Ill update again tomorrow!

Hi!  I'm sorry you have to deal with another procedure due to lack of accurate communication between the doctors.  It is sooo important to have "everyone" on the same page... I had to coordinate between my GYN & the Oncologist (loved the Oncologist more than my GYN) and my regular GP.  It appears some doctor's have an ego issue.

I pray they go thoroughly, accurately, and painlessly today, for your aspiration.  You are in my prayers.

Oh dear, it's hard to go through it again. At least this time you know what to expect. That's what I told myself when I kept going back in for stuff done on my heart. Didn't make it any easier though.

You'd mentioned in an earlier msg that they were going to remove the pouch that kept filling up. Any idea when that will happen?

Im back . They drained 10L and opted not to drain more. They didnt want to risk low blood pressure . There is *still* some to drain but they are hoping I will be more comfortable now. As for the "pouch" removal I will be going in for an ultra sound in July and we will find out then what they want to do!

Meryc Tam.  That is a lot of fluid.  I had 1800 cc drained today.  It is so worth it though.
I feel so much better tonight.  Sore, but the pressure is gone.  Good luck and I kow you will feel better for a few weeks anyway.  Love, Yvonne
