Weekly Taxol

Dr. wants to put me on Weekly Taxol,   counts went higher on Carbo/Gemzar....

Your doctor seems to be staying on top of matters.  I hope the Taxol brings them down. Do they think you will lose your hair?

Taxol did not cause me any hair loss at all.  It did not work for me, but everyone is different.  Now I am on Gemzar which appeared to work but has stopped now.  My onc is adding Tamoxifen since M D Anderson Hospital stresses using combo drugs rather just one.  Go figure.............. I have an outside port and my friend has one under the skin. When they say doctors practice medicine, they are not kidding.  They are practicing on us.  But thank the Lord...............can't live without them.  Right?? Good luck on your Taxol treatments.

   So have you started the taxol? I am hoping that it will bring those numbers down for you.
   I don't think you will lose your hair, I hope not anyway.
