What do my results mean

by Sue3749, Jun 09, 2009 03:53PM
I had a TV sonogram.  The results showed many follicles in both of my ovaries and free fluid in the right.  I am nervous about this result.  I am 60 years old and have not had a period in over 10 years.

Is this dangerous in regard to ovarian cancer? What should I do

Hi There
you should see your gyn to go over the reports and put them in context.
I would probably repeat the ultrasound in a month.
If you are having alot of symptoms such as bloating or intestinal discomfort, I would probably consider getting a CT scan to look at your whole abdomen
take care
