What is the recurrence rate for someone that had Sertoli-Leydig tumor ovarian cancer?

I am 28 years old now, am having some of the same symptoms as before when I was diagnosed as having Sertoli-Leydig Tumor. They operated and took out my left ovary and left fallopian tube. I did not have any kind of radiation or chemo. They said it hadn't spread. Five years later, I have the same pain in my abdomen and back but no masculine symptoms. They have me on Birth Control Pills for hormone therapy. Is it possible that its came back? What are the odds of my remaining ovary getting another kind of cancer from ovarian cysts? I currently have a cyst measuring 2.5 cm. in diameter. My Dr. thinks I have had a cyst to rupture and now has inflammed my pelvis. Is it possible for there to cancer cells in this fluid?

Hi, why does your doctor think that it's a ruptured cyst? Do find out more abt it from him.. Does he recommend surgery to remove the inflammed cyst? Because from what a dr has told me, inflammation can be quite dangerous too if not treated adequately.

It's hard to tell if cancer has come back simply based on symptoms like abdomen pain, which can also be caused by other problems... the only way seems to be a biopsy or a surgery to remove the mass... you really should direct these questions to a gynae-onco...
