When should women see their doctor

Hello, I am 32 years old and have two daughters (12 & 7). I've haven't been to my doctor's office for 11 months now. I guess because I'm always bussy with work and family, I forget about the important thing...ME! My Q' What are the signs to determine when a women should visit the doctor and get a specific test done? I understand some illness don't have signs. I do the minimum when I visit the doctor (annual pap, etc). My right side (oval) often hurts, but goes away in 3-4 days.  I do have constant UTI. I was told by my doctor UTI are common among women. Is this just a myth? Thanks.

Thank you for your answer. Will do. I have another question. How does a women know if she has Ovarian Cancer? Do you have a website where I could get educated on subject? Also, my grandmother had Ovarian Cancer and no longer lives, could I or my daughters need to worry? Also, my daughters auntie and grandmother also have Ovarian Cancer.
