I guess what your oncologist feels is the best way to go at this stage. You went a long time without a recurrence so the Taxol and Carbo in theory worked.
In my case I was given Taxol and Carboplatin again when I recurred after 4 years but it wasn't effective. My oncologist reckoned at the time it had a 60% chance of working and the longer you go in remission the better your chances are that it is effective.
Though I would argue that I was so optimally debulked the first time that they have no idea if the chemo worked at all as there was nothing to measure.
