Hello, Dr. My period has been on since April 1, 2012. Today is June 27, 2012. I had two cyst on my ovaries and on December 29, 2011 I got them removed. And repeatedly I have been to doctors and ask why was my period still flowing heavily. I received lots of answers and no resolutions. Can you please help me?
sometimes the stress of surgery can cause a few months of irregular periods
give yourself six months
keep a diary of your bleeding pattern.
if it has not settled down and gotten back to normal, see your doctor again to sort out if you need a biopsy of the lining of the uterus
