Often for a complex cyst doctors will wait a month and re-do the ultrasound to see if the cyst has gone away, gotten larger or stayed the same. It is possible that the cyst is a simple cyst and will go away on its own. Since you have symptoms, you may want to see a gynecologist/oncologist. They handle these problems even if there is no cancer. They are experts and will be able to give you much more information. The odds of a cyst being cancer are less than 1% but don't take any questions. You could also have a CA 125 blood test done. The only way to tell if a cyst is cancer is to have it removed, but it is usual to wait a month to see if it goes away on its own.
You should really look up information on grandulosa cell tumors they are rare. I was not having my period for almost a year all my blood work for my hormons were normalNormal saline flush but I the only other problems I was having was bloating, gas, heartburn, and diarrage off and on I do have polyecyctis ovaries. Then I ended up in the hosital for pelvis pain now I have no left ovary or tube and have cancer I am only 30 and we were tring to have I baby. You should really ask your doctor to check your inhibin A and B levels along with your homorons. For this type of cancer is rare and slow growning and on a ultersoung it can show to be a cyst. Best of luck to you
Good Luck!
Laura :)
