about to be 23.... do I have cancer?

OK. here goes. I turn 23 in just under a month. And just to state it now. I am planning on going to the Doctors.
\
For the last month maybe a bit longer  I have been having cramps. However I am not on my period when this happens. Also I have been having some issues going to the bathroom. At first I though it was the fact that I stopped drinking so much coffee but then when I would have a cup, and I was not running to the bathroom after. Now I normally do not have this issue. Also it seems like I am going pee alot more. maybe because im drinking more water(but not that much) I don't know. I am in a realtionship with a great guy for about 2 years now. I havent had any signs of anything  at all in the past 2 years so I dont expect it to be an STD.
Is it possiable for a 23 year old to get Ovarian Cancer.?
When I go to the Doctors what tests should I ask for?

How often does Ovarian Cancer lead to death??

Are there any other things that my symptoms could be caused by.

If there is anyone that could help me answer these questions that I have.

After reading all that I have. I am going to go the the Doctors as soon as they can fit me in. Im really scared.. I must admit.

thank you for your time

Basically, Im scared I live on my own and I do not have health insurance so going to the DR.S is something I have to save for. Being only 23 I would never have thought of cancer as a possiability. But the more I read about it and the symptoms  I am having Im not sure its so far off anymore.

There is a very good chance that you might have an ovarian cyst and over 95% of those are benign.  The symptoms are very similar to ovarian cancer.  Take a look at the health pages (top right) and you will see info on types of cysts and symptoms.  Good luck with your appointment and if it is cysts come on over to the Ovarian Cyst forum and we have a lot of experienced ladies there who can help.

You poor child, slow down and breathe, you've jumped to the conclusion that you have cancer and your life is going down the tubes. I'm so glad that you're going to the doctor soon, you'll get an examination and if he feels it's necessary, you'll have the tests necessary to determine, and rule out disease. Symptoms of OVCA are belly bloating, feeling full after eating just a little food, urinary frequency and weight changes.
Reading about disease symptoms before you've been diagnosed can scare the heck out of you, do your research when you know what you're problem is. let us know what the doctor says, and try to relax until you have a reason to worry, and hopefully you won't!......Jane
