I had been cleared of ovarian cancer June 2007 with all good cat scan,surgery and ca 125  at  7 under   10  by my second chemo.  Nov 2007 had a cat scan said they see inflamed lymph nodes in my pelvic area  my blood work went to 19  they gave me a pet scan and they said it was repritoneal fat not cancer got another cat scan six weeks later and they said those lymph nodes are a little bit larger and now my blood work is at 36.  Who is better of a test, cat or pet in detecting cancer?  Could this be a recurrence or juty inflamed lymph nodes and would that raise the ca125 and not be cancer?  They now want me to go for another pet.  What do you think.  Could this not be cancer and just be inflamation (inflammation)?  Please help me here?  I am so confused because everything went so well and levels were so good my doctors said chance of recurrence was so slim...
