I've heard of wound separation ... and they take a long time to heal, but they do heal.  I can't answer to the fluid.  Where is the rehab, is it part of Moffitt.

My heart and prayers go out to you ...

I had wound separation, twice.  It lasted 12 weeks.  I had to remain on antibiotics and have the incision cleaned and packed everyday at the Dr office.  I do not have OVCA though, I don't know if what happened to me is roughly the same?  It is extremely frustrating, so sorry you and your mom (?) are going through this.  Hope things get better soon.
