cionfused

i had a full hysterectomy one year ago i am still having pain i went to the doctors they tell me i have a complex ovarian cyst. how can i have this if i had a full hysterectomy

If you have had only the uterus removed and or at least they left one ovary or even a part of an ovary you can still develop cysts..if I was you I would get a second opinion...your pain can also be related to scar tissue/adhesions..Good Luck..Gia :)

What was exactly a full hysterectomy for you?   Some doctors call a hysterectomy just removal of the uterus.  For my full debulking hysterectomy I had my uterus, cervix, both ovaries, both fallopian tubes and full omentum apron and my appendix...
Did you have your ovaries removed?  If you did you could have remnant ovarie tissue that has cysts.. you need to ask more questions... I hope you find the answers... Ronni
