complex ovarian cyst w/ septum

Hello,I am a 36 yr old married female and was diagnosed with a complex cyst with a septum on my left ovary messuring 6.4 x 4.7 x 4.5cm.
I had 3 ultrasounds done and a ct scan followed by a ca-125 blood test which the results showed a level of 5.4.I am scheduled for surgery in Dec.and am concerned about possible cancer.With a low ca-125 level what is the chance of cancer?.Also my Dr told me that she may not be able to remove it thru lapascopy, because of the size i may have to have lapatomy is this true?.We very scared here.
