complex ovarian mass

by zaplets, Sep 01, 2003 12:00AM
I just had a sonogram done, and I received the results:
1. The left ovary measures 5 X 4cm, A Complex mass is seen measuring 2.6 X 2.7 X 2.3cm. There is some central decreased echogenicity.
(I also have a bicornuate uterus with a fibroid measuring 1.7cm

I mostly concerned about this complex mass. I have an appt within a few days to see an OBGYN. Since the results, I am extremely worried, there is no history of problems with ovarian cysts or cancer in my family. Because it is complex, does this mean I will more than likely need to have surgey, biopsy, etc?

I have been having some pain with my stomach for several months now, and the continual urination. can you please offer some advise. thanks.
