cyst on my ovaries and normal periods every month

I am not sure if I have anything to worry about but I have been to a doctor and had a ultra sound done showing I have cyst.  Large ones for that.  I have a lot bloating and gas.  When I was 17 I had my daughter and could not have any more children.  My cycles were irregular and now they are normal.  I weighed 135 when I had my daughter now i weigh 180lbs. My weight starting going up within a year after having her.  Thats when I am guessing my cyst started because I was unable to have anymore children.  I had periods irregular and heavy up until about 2 years ago.  I am also extremely tired.  I don't understand about the cyst.  One doctor told me I had PCOS but didn't do any blood work just the ultra sound and there was not any checking to see if the cyst were cancerous.  I feel thats not really the problem because this situation has went on for 9 years.

Can I ask by the way whether the PCOS can turn to cancer or not?

Thanks.

You seem to have the symptoms of PCOS.  PCOS lasts a long as you are having monthly cycles, so it is quite likely that the doctor is correct.
