What an amazing site for so many people that don't know where to turn. I hope you're able to help me out as well. About two years ago, I started feeling a tingling in my right groinGroin lump Groin pain Groin stretch Jock itch Swollen lymph nodes in the groin/thigh area until the thigh went numb. I have since been treated for back problems in the L1-L2 region because of the area of numbnessNumbness and tingling. After many tests and procedures with nothing significant showing up, I am in continuous pain in my lower back, groinGroin lump Groin pain Groin stretch Jock itch Swollen lymph nodes in the groin, upper thigh and my kneeAnterior cruciate ligament (acl) injury Anterior knee pain Bursa of the knee Dermatitis, herpetiformis on the knee Knee arthroscopy Knee arthroscopy - series Knee joint replacement Knee joint replacement prosthesis Knee pain Kneecap dislocation Meniscus tears, all consistant with nerveNerve biopsy Nerve conduction velocitypressurePressure ulcer or damage. Our last test was a MRI of the hip. They found a mass. We then did an internal and external ultrasound. The results are as follows: The right ovary is enlarged measuring 5.50 cm x 4.41 cm. There is a complex cystic area in the right ovary. There is a 3.47 cm x 3.15 cm solid area in the right ovary with a clescent shaped fluid surrounding the solid area. The solid area in the right ovary is homogeneously echogenic. The resistive index of right ovary is 0.69. The findings in the right ovary possibly represent a cystadenoma. The possibility of malignancy cannot be entirely excluded. There is no free fliud in the plevis. I had cervical cancer 11 yrs ago and had over 80% of my cervic removed. I've had very painful fibrosis cysts in my left breast since early teens (now 38). Could any of these be related? Do you think they will recomend a full hysterectomy because of my history? Is there a chance that the ovary issue could be putting pressure on my nerves? What does the resistive index number mean? Thanks so much for any help and good luck to everyone else using this site.
Sorry, I left out that I had my tubes tied in 96. In regards to the nerve damage, I am very small - 5'6", 104 lbs. My doc said that this normally doesn't cause any nerve problems, but my size could possibly make a difference. Thanks again for any help.
