cystic hypodensities on ovary

I am 39 years old. I had a hysterectomy and left ovary removed 3 years ago. (I still have my right ovary.) The pathology report didn't reveal any form of cancer, but did report severe endometriosis, adenomyosis and left ovarian calcifications. I was told that the calcifications may have been pre-cancerous, but that nothing had spread beyond the ovary.

I recently had a large ovarian cyst rupture that spilled blood and debris into my pelvic cavity. It was surgically cleaned out. My doctor did a CT Scan to better evalutate the pelvic pain I've been having, which noted a prominent right ovary measuring 3.9cm X 3.1cm. The scan also states that "several hypodensities" were seen in the ovary. I will be having an ultrasound tomorrow to better evaluate this.

What are ovarian hypodensities? Could it be cancer? I've had numerous cysts on my ovary since my hysterectomy, but none had ruptured until recently. I'm very nervous about my scan tomorrow.
