did I miss something?

When I go to the home page of medhelp, I do not see anything about hysterectomies and there is a ovarian cancer answer choice now....where have I been?

We are not certain about the hysto site.  And I am glad to see the new Ovca site up and running.

     How are you feeling now?  Glad to hear from you!  The Hyst site disappeared on Monday, yesterday, and the new OVCA Answer Forum was started.  Looks really promising thus far!  It's all good!  Hoping the Admins will leave this site as is, Patient-to-Patient!  Hoping they see the worth of it!  If not, they are blind and this post could disappear by morning!  Otherwise, we are still here Deb!  Hope you are feeling OK, what are you doing for the surgical Meno?  MV

The menopause thing....I really haven't had any symptoms.  But I was told that fat stores estrogen, and I must have enough for my future grandchildren!  I am only experiencing dull headaches and some pretty wicked hot flashes.  They come together, interestingly enough.  I see the onc for the last time next week (too bad, he's cute)!  I will ask then.  I assume he will send me back to my regular ob/gyn since I did not have cancer.  Any suggestions?  I am glad this site is here, too.  I learned through a prayer chain that a young lady was just diagnosed with ovarian cancer.  I think they had thought it was not cancer, and what a lousy surprise.  I gave this site to her to give her someplace she can go and get answers and encouragement.  This is the best place!  Thanks for your concern.  Deb
