Also had shingles 3 times, the last time was during chemo..and was alot worse then times before. CA125 has always been normal, so it didn't change anything with me.
best wishes
I have had shingles since I was little and they used to be only around my waist until i was about 12 and than they showed up on the backs of my legs. Anyway, i don't know about the CA125 and shingles, but I do know that my shingles are MUCH worse since I've had cancer so...
Good luck to you and yes, keep checking those levels.

I would advise you to do a series of ca125 to see if it keeps rising and if it does, see a gyn.
since shingles is caused by the chicken pox virus and causes a systemic infection of the body, the white counts go up, the lymphatic system goes into over drive, and all blood work is changed. yes a raise in the CA125 is caused by almost any infection.
I don't know for sure, but I would say yes. My husband has them right now on the back of his neck. His gland there is all swollen, and his shoulder hurts him. Any kind of infection can raise a CA count.
