enlarged ovary and enlarged uterus

I have been experiencing a lot of lower ab pain, lots of pressure, heavy periods.  My Dr told me today I have an enlarged ovary and enlarged uterus.  I have an ultrasound on Thursday.  I also have a history on my mom's side of ovarian cancer.  Are these typical signs?

Ovarian Cancer is apparently a very rare cancer.  But the problem is most women ignore all the symptoms before it's too late.  We are the only ones that know our bodies so if u feel something that is not normal you have to insist.  You both should request Transvaginal ultrasounds and CA-125 bloodtests.  I have the same symptoms and my mom is in remission from Ovarian Cancer so I didn't take the symptoms likely.  They found a mass on my left ovary but my CA-125 came back clean so it's probably a dermoid. I HAD a CT Scan on Friday so now it's a waiting game.  Good luck to the both of u and keep us posted.

hey I have been experiencing a lot of lower back pain and I feel like i'm having a baby. my dr told me a couple of weeks ago that i'm not pregnant and that I had an enlarged uterus I need some more information cause i'm freaking out
