IMy wife was diagnosed with Stage1A, grade 3 endometrial mucinous adencarcinoma (adenocarcinoma) of the ovary in May 2001. Surgery removed the tumor and a hysterectomy was performed. Chemo followed, carboplatinum and taxol X 5 sessions.
In Jan 2004 she had vaginal bleeding. A CT scan revealed an abdominal mass. Surgery in Feb 2004 removed most of the mass, part of the bladder, and a colostomy was performed. She is now undergoing chemo (carbo and gemcitabine)X 6 sessions.
My question is, realistically how much time does she have to live? The doctor who performed the surgery said she would die from this cancer but declined to give a prognosis.
What can I expect to see, as her care giver, as the weeks and months progress.
I need to prepare myself for what is to come so I can be of comfort to my wife of 37 yrs. whom I love very much.
Please give me some info

Your answer was swift and pretty much what I anticipated. I will try to live each day as it comes as if it were our last together.
If anyone is in a praying mood I could use some right now.

Dear Rich,  I will certainly pray for you and your wife.  The Lord sees and knows your fear and pain.  May He comfort you as you reach out to Him at this time.  Never give up hope and never stop enjoying the miracles of every single day.
