extensive metastic adenocarcinoma, colon, small bowel, bladder. 2 lymph nodes po

IMy wife was diagnosed with Stage1A, grade 3 endometrial mucinous adencarcinoma (adenocarcinoma) of the ovary in May 2001. Surgery removed the tumor and a hysterectomy was performed. Chemo followed, carboplatinum and taxol X 5 sessions.
In Jan 2004 she had vaginal bleeding. A CT scan revealed an abdominal mass. Surgery in Feb 2004 removed most of the mass, part of the bladder, and a colostomy was performed. She is now undergoing chemo (carbo and gemcitabine)X 6 sessions.
My question is, realistically how much time does she have to live? The doctor who performed the surgery said she would die from this cancer but declined to give a prognosis.
What can I expect to see, as her care giver, as the weeks and months progress.
I need to prepare myself for what is to come so I can be of comfort to my wife of 37 yrs. whom I love very much.
