gi symptoms are they related to ovca

started having gi symptoms 3 to 4 weeks ago. took me to the er. felt like i was having a heart attack or something. Put me on antibiotic and nexium. After waiting another week I broke down and saw a gi. He did an endoscopy and stated that i have a hiatal hernia, esophageal stricture and and bad case of gerd. gastro esphogeal reflux disease. Low and behold I am now taking nexium 40 mg 2 timdes a day permanantly and my meal have diminihed by half. minimal ppetite and can not swallow alot of food due to the narrowing of the esophagus. Does anyone know if there is any correlation witht the ovca. Just wondering........................toni
