go away bloating

I was just wondering does the bloating ever go away? I haven't been to the doc yet regarding a cyst found on my left ovary during a visit to the ER,still awaiting appt. on the 28th but I am so sick of looking and feeling 6 mos. pregnant.Has anyone had the bloating go away and actually feel skinny again? If so how long did it take?

When I ovulate I bloat like crazy. I look 3-4 months pregnant, and my upper stomach area gets tender. The week after I ovulate it gets better. My bloating don't actually get better until I menstrate. Then a whole lot other symptoms start. The I have about one week of relive before I ovulate and it starts all over again. It sucks, because you get so uncomfortable. I've heard some take Gas-X and that has relieved them some. I take benefiber for IBS, but it does not relive my bloating.

I was a little like Mary and did not really experience bloating just a gradual lessening of room for food!  My main symptoms were indigestion, pain on the back and legs and hip and then bleeding after sex.

My bloating has all been after the operation! I am 7 weeks post op today!! (left ovary and 11cm cyst gone) and I have to say that I have more bloating and discomfit in the abdomen than I had before!  I am hoping that it goes down soon as it looks and feels awful.
