good news

Good Afternoon,
I debated whether or not to share this good news...given the sad news about Chris' passing and Deandra's surgery. If I offended anyone I am sorry.  I decided to share this good news  because sometimes the bad news becomes overwhelming.  It is only a little victory but I'll take one whenever I can. I had a bone scan today because of the strong pain I have been experiencing on my right side near the pelvic bone. Well, laying on my back is very painful and  because of the pain the techs and the radiologist looked at the scan right there to make sure they got a good scan or if they needed to take more pictures. Neither of them  could find any cancer mestasisized to any bones. I think that is great news.  I am assuming that the pain is from a known tumor in the lymph node on that side and I am sure after a few more chemo treatments the tumor will be small enough that the pain will go away.   Julie

that is awesome news!
I too agree that just beacuse i have "ovarian" i am exposed to so mush negative **** and thats what it is, is utter ****! statistics mean nothing and its not a "miracle" if someone beats this disease, statistics are improving every day even as we speak. I refuse to expose myself to anything negative anymore!

I wish you all the best and hope that you continue to get positive news now and in the future.

I sometimes feel bad posting good news, too, but if there was ever a time we need to hear something positive, it's right now!  So thanks for sharing your good news, and I hope your continued chemo treatments work on that tumor until it's nowhere to be found!
