granulosa cell tumors

by living waters, Oct 01, 2003 12:00AM
One year ago, I had my first recurrence of GCT (after 7 years).  Did the whole tumor debulking, total hysterectomy, bowel resection, etc. at Mayo, followed by port insertion and three rounds of carbo/etoposide (couldn't tolerate taxel).  Severe immune system responses, including septic shock, caused end to chemo.  I'm having CT scans every four months, with pelvic and rectal exams, and blood drawn for Inhibin levels.  QUESTION: How do I interpret the Inhibin level numbers?  Right now I'm being told that my numbers are in the normal range, but I have yet to see a chart showing low to high values for this test.  Could you help me on this?
