Hi....3 weeks since my 3 surgeries and because my wound is open and still draining the dr has put me on the wound vac...i was just wondering if anyone has had any expereince with the vac. they did have me on in the hospital but now that I am home I am on the portable..just got hooked up today..a littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys nuisance but the dr and nurse insist it speeds up the healing. any info would be appreciated. thank you
Yes, I had one for several months. I struggled with it but would do it again if needed. It does speed of healing. My wound opened like a zipper when my staples were removed. It was pretty unbelievable. I had a great home health nurse that was very caring and careful when he did the dressings. Good luck with yours.
