YOU HAVE ONLY ONE CHANCE TO GET THIS RIGHT THE FIRST TIME..... make certain you have a GYN/ONCOLOGIST perform your surgery.......don't take a chance with anyone else.  You want the surgeon who is trained especially for your situation....your future can depend on it!  Hang in there and please do keep us posted.
Peace.

You need to get a consultation with a gynecological/oncolist asap if your dr is at all concerned it is cancer and he is not a gyn/onc.  They are specially trained to deal with gyn related cancers and if it is cancer they are trained in the best way to remove the cyst and prevent rupture or spillage  They can also stage you, debulk you, biopsy, etc. at the time of your initial surgery so you don't have to have a second surgery for all that.  You only get one chance to have this surgery performed correctly.  Most cysts are benign but you want to give yourself the best possible opportunity for a good outcome in case yours is not.  Please see a gyn/onc before your surgery.  Best wishes and let us know how it goes.  Chris P
