hypoechoic masses

by heyjonsie, Aug 21, 2007 01:23AM
My doctor called me in to discuss a ultrasound done on me last week and she explained that within the uterus I had two hypoechoic masses with the largest noted within the posterior uterine body and fundus. The second mass was located within the anterior findus.   The right ovary shows a hypoechoic focus with internal echoes measuring 1.4x 1.1x1.4cm but without doppler color flow. The left ovary is of normal appearance. There is no evidence of free intrapelvic fluid.  The urinary bladder is of normal apperance.  She recommend followup ultrasound exam in 6 to 10 weeks for reassessment.  Do I have anything to worry or be concern about ?

Thank you

I don't know about the uterus, however, I believe the watching of the cyst of the ovary is very appropiate.  good luck
