is ovarian cysts and breast cysts related

I was diagnosed with a complex ovarian cyst the size of 7.5 cm.  Which is causing alot of pain.  They are going to take care of it here soon, but another weird thing has started happening.  I have sharp breast pain and some sort of little cyst or lump on one of my breast.  I have always had lumpy breasts, but this is harder and painful to touch should i be worried.  Is it just hormones going crazy from cyst.  Can they be related.  I had one on my left breast also a couple weeks ago but it went away.  I have never had these before and am just worried.

Hi there,
that is an interesting question. Your breast pain may be completely unrelated. However, many cysts can produce extra estrogen which may cause your normal lumpy breasts to get more lumpy. I would recommend having the cyst removed first and then seeing what happens with the breast lump.
please let us know what happens.
best wishes

had a sonagram they found an unidentified abnormal mass on right breast found out a week ago and still am not going to be seen for a couple weeks.  i know i have no family history of breast cancer but you would think they would move on it a little sooner considering it has grown a little.

Hi There
I know it is scary to wait. At age 27 most (but not all) breast cysts are benign. It is safe to wait a few weeks.

I have a date set up for surgery on the 25th.  I have no insurance they want 4500 dollars before procedure.  How long can i put this off i do not have the money especially in two weeks.  I have extreme pain and want it done but can not afford it.  What are my health risks

Hi There
you should discuss this with the social worker at your hospital to see how they can help you with the financial aspect.
