laparascopy for 11 cm adnexal ovarian cyst

by stahr, Jul 06, 2007 12:00AM
I am in Iowa and would like to find a physician or hospital that specializes in removing larger ovarian cysts via laparascopy.  What are the chances of me finding someone?  Can you make recommendations?

I am in Cedar Rapids  I worked at St Lukes for many years, both hospitals here have very good surgical departments,  there are many excellent doctors , Dean Bemus is one, he is an OB/GYN with years of experience.  The University of Iowa in Iowa City  hospital is also very good, Iowa Methodist in Des Moines. We are very fortunate here in Iowa to have very qualified facilities and physicians available state wide. Best way to find a doctor is to call the hospital you want to go to, then ask for physcian referral.
