looking for CMG3 and shellhall

I just wanted to give an update. I had surgery to remove a mass in the wall of my Uterus 2/22. The surgery went great. The Dr said he has never seen a mass like it. There was about 12 layers adenomyosis and fibroid tissue and in the center was blood. The surgery took 3 hrs he took it out in about 12 pieces via laporoscopy. So far I have not had any pain.PO everthing is healing fine. He beleives this was an isolated area so, so far no hysterectomy is needed. I see him in July for a check. I hope now I can get my life back. Hope this worked :)

Yes all your symptoms sound famaliar. The pain was always the worst during and right after my period. The Dr thinks my prognosis is good. While he was in there he looked all over for any endometreosis he did remove alot my last surgery in 8/06 there was none to be found this time all the sites are all healed. I am continuesly taking the pill so I have not had a period since my surgery. When I see him in July we will talk about having another child. Please keep me posted about your surgery. I am sure everything will be fine hang in there. If you are not happy with your Dr I can always refer you to mine he is in NYC. Feel free to contact me any time :)

Sorry - couple more things.  I also have the pain as you described but on the right side where they found a cyst in December (thought it was kidney stone).  But also could be caused by the adeno or fibroids I t hink.  Also, the sickness this past weekend may have been a precursor to my period as I get pretty sick with that as well.  Also, the pain, of course, is worse during my period.  Does this sound familiar with your symptoms?  Thanks again.

Thanks for you kind words. My symptoms were extreme pain on my left side shooting down my leg around by back. My stomach was so bad I saw a gastro guy and he put me on nexium and carafate I  had nausea all the time and that did help ask your dr for an rx for nexium. The pain killers rip your stomach up. Since my surgery my stomach has been much better I have not needed pain killers I even stopped the nexium I see my gastro guy friday. I still get nervous about the pain every little twinge I think is this the pain again so far so good. Please keep me posted about your surgeries. My e-mial is ***@****

Yes, I think my body had just had enough this past weekend - pain killers, the extreme stress I'm under - don't want to go into detail, but situations are happening in my life that need to be resolved quickly.  I was throwing up all morning Saturday and completely out of it until Monday.  Just didn't feel like the flu though - do you know what I mean?  I have been taking Protonix for several years and ran out of the prescrip. about 2 weeks ago.  Since I've been back on it as of Saturday (takes a couple days to kick in) I think that has been a big help in my "recovery."  I'm just hoping that my doc can do what yours did and not have to have hyster.  Sounds like a great alternative; what are the prognosis for the future of this - is it gone now or is there a chance it may return?  Let me know when you get a chance.  I'm very happy for your outcome!  Take good care.  (thanks for the email also).

That's wonderful news!  The kind I would like to receive. I've just been so busy with life, I haven't been here in a while.  They postponed my appt. on 2/23 until 3/23 for another tvu and consult on my adeno.  This past weekend I had a full blown flue-like attack and it may h ave been the flue or issues from t he adeno.  Can you relate to me again please your symptoms with the adeno and fibroids as I have the same.  The nausea has kicked in so much in the past month that I find it hard to eat without getting sick.  Thank you so much and many congrats on a great outcome!!!  Best......
