Sorry to hear about all your pain and weight loss. I am a little worried about your weight loss also. Please have a ultrasound to find out what is happening. I know you said you couldn't afford it but get help from your relatives or friends or sell something. Early detection is so important. Also do a CA125. You could have benign conditions but it has to be resolved. Best of luck--please keep us updated.

Hello--What other symptoms are you having besides loss of weight, are you having upset stomach, bowel problems, etc? I had surgery to remove a benign ovarian cyst in November. I am not sure if I have had a ruptured cyst or not, but a couple of times in the last few years I have had severe pain in my side that caused my bowels to stop moving for about a week. Each time it happened, I lost about 15 pounds. I was not able to afford the test my doctor wanted to do at those times (ultrasound), so my doctor diagnosed gastroenteritis. However, looking back now, and having read up on cyst rupture symptoms, I think I probably did have ruptured cysts. In my case, the weight loss stopped after a few weeks. Still, you need to find out for sure what is causing your weight loss, it could be that the cyst you have is obstructing the bowel, or you might have an infection, etc. If it's either of those, you need treatment as soon as possible to prevent complications. I would call my doctor if you think you can wait a day or two for an appt, otherwise, go to the emergency room. Even if it's not cancer, losing weight without trying is never normal. Good luck, I hope you feel better soon.
