Hi everyone, I hope someone could help me. I was having a severe pelvic pain went to see a doctor he said it is ovulation 90% but he wants to make sure it is only from ovulation so he ordered a CA125 test, I started reading about it and it was for ovarian cancer so i freaked out and told the clinic to submit the results ASAP so in 4 hours the results came out and it was 13. The doctor said this CA125 is not only to detect cancer but also to dectect ednometriosis. He said i will keep an eye on you so you can do that test monthly to see if it increases. WHAT is he suspecting? ovarian cancer or ENDO? why do i have to redo the test monthly? there is also some fluid which i saw on the paper I read FLUID 39 what does that mean? I am so scared to do that test again. I just reached 30, could the fluid be from ovulation?
Thanks,

Free fluid  in small quantities is normal in women that still have periods.  It often comes form the rupture of the corpus luteum cyst each month.  I am sure they will keep check on it, though, if it is a significant amount.

you might want to re-issue your post and title it something re: your cyst or fibroid issue.  there are several women on this forum who seem pretty educated on those issues, and they may be more likely to hit on your post with a different title.  just a suggestion :)
