now what?

i just came back from my 2nd TVU...i was told that my 3.9 cm complex cyst has shrunk down to 1.2cm but is still complex.  has anyone experienced this type of thing?
i know my GP will recommend I wait another month then have a repaeat TVU.
is this reasonable?
what does it mean when a complex cyst shrinks?
thanks for any info.

gp called today.  said 2nd TVS showed that the cyst appeared to have resolved itself.
that different than what the tec. told me.
gp still putting referral through to gyn.
thanks for listening.

I think when a complex cyst shrinks that means it was probably a "functional" (i.e. normal/benign/caused by hormones) cyst.  But you should call your doctor and ask.

Sounds like you are on the watchfull wait.  They are going to check and see if it shrinks anymore.  Good luck.  You may want to go for a 2nd opinion with a gyn/onc if you haven't done so already.
